The regular Nutrition Coaching program has a minimum commitment of six months.  You and your Coach develop a closer relationship and go into more depth, forming goals, as well as your overall vision, guiding you so that you strive in all dimensions of your health.  The Strong Start program is shorter, succinct, focusing only on a single "mid-range" goal and seeing you through it.  Strong Start goes for 4-6 weeks.  You can think of it as dipping your toes into the Nutrition Coaching waters.  If it goes well, you always have the option of segueing into the full Nutrition Coaching program.  

No, neither are required.  While all who enroll are given their own MKT dashboard, which can be accessed via the web through the MKT app, it is not wholly necessary to use it.  There are various tools and trackers that can be useful for accountability as well as collecting and storing useful data on your progress but old school pencil and paper works just fine.  There is a app you can download to access from your phone.  Our live sessions can be done virtually or, again, if you prefer, using a regular phone.  

I want to give you a strong start (or big push if you’ve already started) in getting to your overall goal. We'll clarify and detail some items from your Preliminary health an lifestyle form (you would have completed this first).  We'll develop a relevant performance goal (5-6 week) and one or two process goals (short term regular actions) to start working on immediately.  We'll also take stock of your strengths, skills, and resources (things you already have that will help) and address any challenges you may have reaching your goal.  Additionally, we’ll discuss some related items such as how we will maintain contact, what you will be measuring along the way (to track progress) and what else you can expect from the Nutrition Coaching Strong Start program.   

The Strong Start Program is designed to get you going on the right track.  If you need additional coaching, you can enroll in the Nutrition Coaching program and have regular meetings with your Coach.  

Officially, we'll have one 45 minute session at the beginning to assess where you're starting from, what your desired, overall goal or outcome is, and what skills and resources you'll need to get there.  We'll then taking your overall outcome into account, define a mid-range, or performance goal, that makes sense sequentially, strategically, and can be reasonably achieved over the ensuing month.  We'll have a 15 minute session after a month to assess what you've accomplished since, and what the next step(s) are.  You'll also have periodic correspondence with your Coach via email, text, and via your MKT dashboard.  Unofficially, at the Coach's discretion, you may have an additional 15 minute session to farther clarify any detials related to your goals.
